Fossil Park skate park was opened in 2003. A 13-year-old Fossil Park resident petitioned for the construction of the skate park. The city council turned a retention pond into a passive skatepark. The Fossil skatepark is located within the Fossil Park in the Willis S. Johns Recreation Center.
It features a bankroll-in, quarter pipes, a small ram, a pyramid, and so on for skating. It’s an ideal skatepark in St. Pete without any doubt.
